7/1/25.
WPTR is the name given to the solo project of Peter Gill (2nd Grade) and is described as "pastoral folk" in the vein of Bill Fox, Chris Weisman and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Seeing that I'd only heard of the first two this year, I was immediately drawn to WPTR. And I can say, it is as described.
There are 18 tracks on this cassette release via Lame-O Records. Both Peter Gill and Lame-O are Philadelphia based.
Thanks to Bandcamp user Mawkish Twaddler for buying this and therefore making it appear on my radar.
