Finally added some of the āSchemata Seriesā cushion cover designs to my online shop. This one is calledĀ āThe Rhombus Theoremā. It is aĀ minimal but bold cushion cover, which will add a modern touch to any room. Its pattern suggest symbols and diagrams of abstract concepts. Despite its simplicity it can be seen as a linear representation of complex theories. These theories however are characterised -as the geometric shapes suggest- by notions existing in balance. All Schemata series cushion covers are woven with black and red yarn against a contrasting natural coloured cotton background. These colours are also used in early traditional textiles. Weaving the pattern involves a lot of counting warp threads and placing yarns by hand!
