‘The second collaborative effort from Canada’s Charles Barabé and Britain’s Justin Wiggan aka Roadside Picnic is probably one of the most musically dense records amongst all Wounded Knife releases. National House Milk is entertainingly misleading in its abstract compositions which is no surprise considering the musical background of both artists (check their excellent releases on labels like 905 Tapes, A Giant Fern, Tymbal Tapes, Jehu & Chinaman... Not to mention Barabé's own La Cohu); the distant noisy soundscapes energized by frantic drum machine beats, odd samples of unknown origin and swirling digital textures form a focused and concise album.’

‘Austin-based audio and visual artist Randall Taylor explores the vast areas of his tension filled ambient/drone music by constantly changing and evolving both emotionally and technically. His renowned "suitcase of drone" is not only a collection of sound equipment but also an instrument on its own, a mechanical organism fueled by degrading tape loops intertwined with delay feedbacks. Lake Mary / Nathan Wheeler - Also [Wounded Knife]

‘Also is the second Lake Mary cassette released by Wounded Knife and at the same time the second album where no guitar was used (at least in the common way). Here Chaz Prymek teamed up with Nathan Wheeler, member of the "live band" incarnation of LM: Lake Mary & the Ranch Family Band. Their modest but inspiring approach resulted in two side-long compositions combining elements of classical, minimalist drones and gentle synthesizer waves - just two guys deeply inspired by Charlemagne Palestine, La Monte Young and all the other minimalist masters chilling out in a forest cabin. The perfect uplifting record.’

Sébastien Branche / Miguel A. García / Wojtek Kurek / Mateusz Wysocki - Harigams [Wounded Knife]

‘When French saxophonist Sébastien Branche and Basque sound artist Miguel A. García were playing shows all around Europe in 2015, the latter made a proposal to Polish musicians Wojtek Kurek (Paper Cuts, Warten) and Mateusz Wysocki (Fischerle, Bouchons D'oreilles) to meet and record an improvised session during their visit in Warsaw, Poland. Their meeting gave birth to Harigams, a unique piece comprised of precise electro-acoustic sound crafting.’
