If I ever have to have CPR done on me, I sure hope it doesn't have to be Min.
lbr that was a mess dude. I don't have ta'veren plot armor like Mat, I'd be fucked.
wheel of time show really said fuck it and made the bore look like the death star
i'm almost through my wheel of time re-read and in a hilarious twist of events, i'm realizing that i never actually read the final book in the series! i've been deluding myself for years that i read it and just forgot everything that happened, but i'm pretty sure i never read it in the first place!
in the final wheel of time book, brando sando really pulled a double not all men and inclusivity win combo when he referred to the dark one, a character who had been exclusively referred to with he/him pronouns for this entire 4 million word series, as "it" because "evil has no gender"

i don't know if it was that wired smear piece that revealed that brando sando hates revising his own writing or if a memory of light didn't get a line edit pass that the other two did, but i've been noticing that the prose is actually really bad in this book. like glaring errors that you're supposed to stop making once you hit high school english, stuff any editor should have caught, like the word good being used when it's supposed to be well, that kind of thing.
my entire wheel of time re-read has been about a two-year long project. i checked when i started and it was feb 2021. in case anyone was wondering how long it takes to read a bloated 4.4 million word high fantasy series.
while i'm on the topic of RJ's agricultural failings in his worldbuilding, did you (you being the approximately 4 of my followers who have read this ridiculous series) know that oosquai, that strong alcohol the aiel have, isn't meant to be a tequila equivalent? no, it's a spirit made from CORN. CORN. and where the fuck are the aiel growing corn in their goddamned desert where it never rains???
