        ❝  yeah,  but  i  think  everyone’s  just  having  a  rough,  ❞  a  noticeable  pause  before  he  continues,  ❝  few  years.  ❞  seems  about  right.  a  lot  of  people  seem  tired  or  angry  and  definitely  do  not  share  his  sense  of  optimism.  that’s  okay,  though!  gives  him  more  motivation  to  make  the  world  a  better  place!  ❝  i’m  sure  after  some  time,  and  maybe  a really  long  nap,  people  will  start  feeling  better.  the  world  can’t  always  be  rotten,  ya  know?  ❞  at  least  he  hopes  not.  gotta  keep  looking  on  the  bright  side!  

     ❝  hey,  so  i  know  this  isn’t  easy.  ❞  not  as  if  easy  was  an  expectation  when  they  escaped.  freedom  was,  not  so  much  easy.  being  on  the  run  is  difficult,  exhausting  even,  but  he’s  glad  to  be  exhausted  with  her.  ❝  but  i  hope  you  know  there’s  no  one  i’d  rather  have  it  hard  with  than  you.  ❞  not  quite  as  romantic  as  he  was  thinking,  but  it’s  not  a  lie.  ❝  and  if  there’s  anything  i  do  in  this  life,  it’s  gonna  be  keeping  us  safe,  alright?  ❞

       he’s  trying  to  not  be  judgmental,  be  a  good  brother  for  once  in  his  life.  it’s  not  easy,  then  again,  no  emotion  is  really  easy  to  express  for  him.  he  scrunches  his  nose  up  before  clearing  his  throat.  ❝  so  ----  kids.  ❞
