ooooh man, I don’t know.  I’m sure the UK has a lot of awesome makeup brands, I just wouldn’t be familiar with what they are.  What I like about Nyx is that it’s consistently good quality makeup, maybe not always the *best there is*, but 9/10 times a pretty good product.  This separates Nyx (Milani is also has this quality, but it’s got a smaller selection) from the bigger brands like Revlon or Maybelline or whatever that might have a really nice mascara but terrible lipstick and vice versa.  If you don’t have that available, my best advice would be to do a lot of comparison shopping online to see what’s available to you and see what’s good and what generally is considered the best.  Given the makeup market that exists in the UK, I’d actually be willing to bet that there exists one or two brands similar to Nyx in the whole consistenly-good-products department, I just wouldn’t know what they are.
