WORLD ROULETTE IS COMING TO KICKSTARTER! 150 artists + 150 worlds + challenges, worldbuilding resources and more! in one incredible art book! We are just putting the finishing touches on our @Kickstarter campaign and then we will begin the final count-down for #WorldRoulette!!! . Like many of the projects we do at LGAL, we created World Roulette with the idea that like a good holodeck, or time machine -- there are infinite worlds to explore! We teamed up with 150 artists to create this incredible worldbuilding compendium, chock full of worlds, stories, creative challenges, advice from worldbuilding pros, and more! . CALL FOR WISDOM! I’m really glad to be part of such a cool project : a collective show featuring 150 artists from around the globe...each of them created one black and white piece of art depicting an imaginary world, inspired by world attributes (ecosystem, time period...) given at random. All 150 pieces are also showcased on their website, where you can buy archival prints of the artworks. - Prints of my illustration are available here ! - The Light Grey Art Lab team also designed a beautiful book that gathers all the artwork and their stories created for the show, and features a worldbuilding guide, as well. ✨ The World Roulette Art Book is currently on Kickstarter. I can’t believe the growing season is almost over:( I am already getting a little sad about it and although I’ve got a fair amount of house plants, I know I’ll miss the wild piles of leaves and all the creatures I see when I’m outside. I’ve been drawing a few little things lately to practice making stencils for tattooing that are plant and mushroom related. Here’s a little one I did last week in ink! . In other news, the #WorldRoulette Kickstarter is still happening and it’s been so exciting! We’ve done a lot of work on the project and are excited that we’ve reached the goal to unlock the foil and book cloth cover! Very cool. Anyway- if you get a chance to check it out, please do, it’s a project I worked very hard on this summer amidst the craziness of 2020.
