all of these trans military bills are insane to me, because there are like 2.1 million or so service members, right? give or take a few thousand. how many trans people are in the military? I'm seeing like 10,800, ish as of 2016. the number of trans people in the military is less than the amount i rounded to get to 2.1 million, which was just under 21,000. insane that these bills are getting passed and it's just because 11,000 people want people to call them by their name.

Why CAN'T we all just hold hands and sing songs around a fire? What's stopping us?

gatekeeping labels is stupid. arguing over words is stupid. the whole point of being queer is breaking out of boxes society has set for us, and to waste your time fighting with other queer people about how they want to represent themselves is stupid. focus on other more important things, go outside.
