Happy #worldfireciderday 🌶🍯🔥🌿 Please visit freefirecider.com and check out the #freefirecider hashtag to learn about the ridiculous trademark situation surrounding this folk remedy and to lend your support to the #firecider3 who are being wrongfully sued by Shire City. The website also includes free recipes! Herbalism is about community, community supported wellness, and collaboration. This bullying will not be tolerated by herbalists or lovers of natural medicine. • Fire cider is one of the first herbal remedies I tried my hand at making during my Introductory Course with @herbalacademy and my recipe is based on Rosemary Gladstar's. What I love most about this tonic is that you can be creative with it! It is so easy to make too. I love using red onion and I often include both lemon AND orange in my batches for maximum vitamin C and flavor. • In solidarity with keeping traditional folk remedies trademark free, I made two batches of this delicious vinegar and honey tonic today. One I will be keeping for myself and loved ones, but the other is up for trade/barter if anyone is interested! It will be ready in 6 weeks. • Also please note that this photo was taken pre-shake, after I added the apple cider vinegar. You always want to shake up those jars so that everything gets coated in vinegar. The wax paper on top is to protect the lid from the vinegar, which reacts with metal if it comes in contact.
