The Vitality Virus (sometimes called the Blight) is a terrifying, mutagenic infection.
It doesn’t just kill — it evolves, transforming its hosts into sentient undead, twisted plants, or monstrous hulks. Some lose themselves. Others become more.
Whole forests have mutated, cities swallowed by roots, and the infected don’t always die... some lead nations.

There’s no single ruler. Just factions, each clinging to survival, dominance, or faith.
🔧 How Does Technology Work?
The old world’s tech is broken, scavenged, or infected.
Enhancement tiers upgrade weapons, armor, and implants using scrap and Maturo:
Dull → Crude → Rugged → Tuned → Refined → Pristine → Special
Fizz-Cola Enhancers grant powers like speed, rage, electricity… for a price.
Cybernetics exist, but some were infected. Machines go mad. AI speaks in dreams.
Vehicles run on unstable fuels. Mechs and hovercraft are rare but real.

🧬 The Vermin: Lab-born monsters that absorb DNA and mimic memories.
🧟 Mutated Infected: From shambling corpses to leaping horrors or bile-spewing hulks.
🪵 The Bloomed: Half-plant, half-human beings serving the Overgrown.
☢️ Forbidden Tech: Vaults with tech that warps flesh and minds.
🧠 Rogue AI: Some satellites still orbit Earth. Some still remember.
The Unstained are a militant faction of survivors in the world Their core belief is that the infected—zombies, carriers, and even those partially immune—are Unclean and must be purged completely to restore the purity of humanity.
🛡️ Overview of The Unstained:
💠 Identity:
A radical purist group that views infection as a spiritual and biological corruption.
Claim to be humanity’s last line of defense against the “unclean blight.”
Reject any compromise with infected beings—even sentient or harmless ones.
🧥 Uniforms & Symbols:
Wears white or bone-colored armor stained with red war paint or ash, resembling religious vestments.
Emblazoned with a symbol resembling a burning chalice or a cross made of blades.
Often wear gas masks or hoods to avoid "contamination."
⚔️ Tactics & Gear:
Use old-world weapons (guns, flamethrowers, UV cannons) mixed with scrap-forged purification tech.
Highly trained in zombie extermination tactics.
Deploy “Ash Priors” (elite purifiers) and “Chasteners” (scouts/assassins) in infected zones.
🧠 Beliefs:
Believe the Vitality Virus is a test of faith—those who resist it are “Chosen,” all others are “Impure.”
Worship an abstract concept of “Cleansing Flame” or divine purity.
Consider the immune, carriers, and especially Sentient infected as abominations.

Formed from remnants of early military and religious orders after the fall.
Engage in crusades across the wastelands to purge infected zones.
Enhancements are armor, weapons, gadgets, and wearable tech designed to aid survival in the apocalypse. Some were manufactured before the fall of civilization—military-grade, experimental, or prototype gear—while others are scavenged and cobbled together from scrap, bone, or biotech post-outbreak.
Each Enhancement is graded on a 7-tier system, reflecting durability, craftsmanship, and function:
🔻 Tier 1: Dull
☠️ Weak, barely functional gear.
Often broken, rusted, or makeshift.
Example: Splintered bat, duct-taped goggles, cracked riot shield.
🔸 Tier 2: Crude
⚒️ Handmade from junk or salvaged materials.
Unstable but usable.
Example: Nail pipe bat, road-sign chestplate, bottle-cap landmine.
