1992's Star Wars: Dark Empire #2 Cover by cover artist Dave Dorman. Source
World Devastators were a type of Imperial superweapon first seen after the Battle of Endor. Using powerful tractor beams, World Devastators stripped planets of their resources, using the material to power large internal factories that in turn created swarms of droid fighters to protect the Devastator. They were, perhaps, more dangerous than the Death Star, due to their efficiency.

May the 4th 2017. Here’s to growing up with the original Essential Guides, Rogue Squadron, the X-Wing novels, and goofing off with the action figures. And Dark Empire. I straight up enjoyed that series cover to cover.
EU best U.
