Expanding on that, I could have it go from like a glitch on the screen all the way up to a video tunnel with a live projection. They did that in one of the performances I had to watch for a different class, the math one. Note to self, look this up later
hey whoa hey what if I meshed the projecting-an-image-of-a-thing-onto-the-thing-itself idea with the becoming-unstuck-from-time idea and tried to project a video of the actor onto the actor themself...
that could be either like a live recording of them, so there would be a lag, or potentially a pre-recorded, so I could play with differences in setting and costume
or even a pre-recorded video of a DIFFERENT performer? that would be stretching things in a way that would likely screw things up for me dramaturgically but all of this is worth messing around with in workshop time
I’m suddenly thinking about the potential of doing some perspective shift-y vertigo stuff with projections? Like if things suddenly seem to tilt and Danny feels the need to hold onto something even though nothing has moved... much to think about
