i love being old. i can use it like a bludgeon, such as "i'm almost 40 and (in this case) i agree with the whippersnapper i would not care if the cashier is wearing a met gala dress it does not effect me" against numpties who think all adults give a flying rat fuck about their stuffy, boring "decorum"
p.s. cashiers should be allowed to SIT. making them stand for HOURS is fucking stupid. so is making them look "busy" all the time. motherfucker so long as they don't ignore me when i'm at their station i do not caaaare. in fact, making them stand and look "busy" all the time makes me think the CEO or manager is a fucking asshole. i think every manager or CEO that makes their employees do that shit should be kicked in the kneecap by every one of those employees.
