Your strongest muscle & worst enemy is your mind. Train it well.
It is something that people usually have overlooked on. People don’t talk about it that much because we are always interested more on the results not the process. And some of us under estimate the power of the mind.
What is mental fitness? We all have our goals or at least we all want something. Every day we face different challenges on a certain level, consciously and unconsciously. Some want to lose weight, some want to build muscles, some want more money, some are going through an adversity, some want things and the list goes on and on.
Mental fitness is the priming of your mind, exercising or training your brain, tuning into the world around you & making the most of the present, basically having the ability to focus whenever needed or whenever you want to. Let’s not confuse it as a basis to measure our ability to learn and absorb more information because that’s on a different plane. It is more of a state that is essential for everyone to have, to be able to achieve our goals and be strong and resilient on whatever challenges we have to face in life. That being said… It means that if we can train our body or muscles to develop… we can also train and develop our mind.
Everyone has their own battle to fight. Everyone has their own goals and we all want something in life. Every challenge or adversity that we face target’s our mind. Not your body or whatever or whoever it is that you are afraid to lose. If you want something, it all starts from your mind. If you want to have a fit body, a good life, a good career, or whatever it is… you need to have a fit mind first. Ultimately… it all goes down to your mind. So having and maintaining a mind on a good shape is very essential for us to be mentally fit.
So we should always be mindful of our mindset. And if you are going through an adversity or trying to achieve something and it still seem so far even though you feel like you gave it all. Take a closer look on your mind. Ask yourself if you are mentally fit to pursue my goals.
