So I resigned from my current role - it was a big decision to make as logic always prevails and I didn't have a new role lined up and thought about the money to help with finances... But you know what? Happiness is more important than money and when you work closely along side someone for 4 years who conducts business in an unethical manner that really grates on my spirit morally and ethically!! When I came home from Sydney in Feb 2009 I had a goal to educate myself for myself and my family - I can't curb the thoughts of continuing to educate myself (some say I am crazy to want to put the pressure of study on myself again. Maybe I am). I figure I have done quarter of a NZDipBus with a B+grade average then why not work towards completing it (hopefully with a minimum B grade average that I could actually obtained a Degree) #aimhigh #trustyourself #reachhigher #educateyourself #educatedmum #workingmumov2

Being on holiday has been amazing! The first thing I did was turn off my alarm. I love going to bed knowing I don't have to wake up to anything other than my family. Being on holiday with my husband and kids has been even more amazing! We haven't had any plans and it's been perfect - it's exactly what we need as we head into another full paced packed year. A chance to rest and be be together, spend the day together, go to bed and wake up together - I am lucky to have a happy little family unit. Being on holiday has made me truely see I need to rid myself of the one thing that gives me anxiety which is my work environment - The corporate world is not for me. That is not my world, it serves no one but the wealthy and the wealthy are greedy in my view. I would LOVE to hand my notice in on my first day back but first I need to buff up my resume and make it all shiny #makeshithappen #happiness #workingmumov2 #thepeeks

Schools back tomorrow, so an hour or so spent in the kitchen today and we have 2weeks of school lunch sorted. Mashed egg,ham and cheese sammies, chicken and cheese sammies, ham cheese and pickle rolls, berry and cream cheese muffins, dried fruit and nuts and my baby girls all time favourite lunch time snack..tuna and crackers.
