"Seriously?" A rolled her eyes, clearly not impressed.

B only smirked and began writing on the cup with a black sharpie.

"Uh huh, and is that with a C or S?"

"Give me my damn cappuccino, (B’s last name)."

2. main character death

The day was expected. Everyone knew it was to come, eventually. So, by the time the day arrived, everyone thought that all their tears had been cried out. That all their grief had already been felt. Yet, there they were, crying and feeling that grief, only then... It hit full force. Because despite it being the expected outcome, and despite the fact that they had already said their goodbyes, they weren't ready to let go.

3. reuniting after a long time

"B?”

A turns, her heart racing at the familiar voice, a smile instantly forming on her lips as brown eyes meet green.

"If you leave... You're leaving it all behind."

"No, A, that's not what I want."

"You're leaving it all behind. And that's your choice, that's on you. So choose."

"That's not fair."

"None of this is fair, B! You're leaving! You're flaking out, you're throwing away everything!"

5. resolution / climax in relationship (either to end it all or right before everything goes to shit lol)

"Don't go."

I pause at the door, feeling a smile curve into my lips. God, how long have I been waiting for her to ask me to stay? Too long.

"I just meant- I mean- If you want, but if you don't I totally understand, I don't know why I-"

I quickly turn to face her, laughing gently when I see how worried she looks with her eyebrows creased and mouth downturned.

"No. I want to stay. I've just... I've kinda been waiting for you to, you know... want me."
