How important is a workflow for you? Are your machines all on designated spaces or mobile? Most of my heavy machines used to sit on a table. I had to lift them up (ouch! my back!) and move to the workbench to use. It wasn't efficient and in fact dangerous a bit. Therefore I've built a bunch of carts for those machines. Each one has its own cart/cabinet which glides on excellent quality casters from @kregjig. Carts also provide well organized storage space.
