There were always days in which Yves didn't feel comfortable in his own skin, and today was one of those days. After seeing the word completely change before him, sometimes reminiscing about the times he spent in Ireland one hundred year ago sent him into a downward spiral. Emotions were not something that the half-human was able to express in front of others. Not able was the wrong word, it was more like he was embarrassed to show any type of emotion to others. So there he was, in the bathroom, bawling his eyes out. Although his whimpers were soft, the overflow of tears stung his cheeks and he continuously rubbed at his face. It was a nuisance to cry but there was nothing else he could do but let the tears and soft sobs escape.
It was not until he heard a voice that snapped his head up, out of his hands and he was staring at someone who reminded him of a friend. However, the other had questioned him and he just stood there, frozen. “I..” A soft yet shaky sigh passed through Yves chapped lips as he tried to find his words. He cleared his throat and although there were still tears running down his face, he nodded his head a bit. “I’m fine.. s-sorry.”
