Happy Earth Day from our Quarantine to yours! I’ve been indoors for so long that my eyes can’t quite adjust to the light. But look how beautiful my love looks. 💁🏼 Been doing a lot of thinking, panicking and internal screaming lately. I’m sure most of us can relate to that sentence. But, in between those things, I’ve also been experimental cooking, deep-loving, & life-organizing. I’ve started and stopped approx. 376 new hobbies. I’ve written a long(ish) poem about trauma and a bunch of 30-second jingles to my cats. I’ve bumped up the nostalgia via some video games (like Ratchet and Clank) & written a few letters I probably won’t send. I have not been able to get my heart back into producing and releasing more podcast episodes for @asoftmess . My energy levels for using tech are SO low right now. But, I’ve hung out on Zoom with some Softies & hosted virtual tea parties. One day a bunch of us even hung out with candles in the dark. I’m still trying not to feel guilty about what I do with every hour of every day. I’m trying to fight the fatigued when I can & be gentle with myself when I can’t. I’m trying to learn new things, connect with friends and call my family. I’m trying to give more support more love in a time when everything feels so scary and scarce. Im trying to Be Good. Never in my life would I have ever imagined having a best friend like @lovecarolinekk. This 3 week surprise visit has been one of the best surprises of my whole life.
