LMAO My Twyla came in the mail today and one of her eyes is literally WAY SMALLER than the other. I wanted to display this doll as-is, but now I’m considering swapping her head for an older Twyla and repainting this poor abomination. Nice quality control mattel. How does this even happen?

I went to Walmart today and looked at the dolls... Oy vey some of the wonkiest wonk eyes I've ever seen. I should have taken pictures. I don't even understand how those are sellable. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow and take pictures to send to Mattel. I would have bought the Dead Tired Frankie but her eyes were WAY off.
I'm TOTALLY in love with Kjersti. I couldn't even believe I found her (at a Target in Chicago, on a brief visit). They had Isi too, who I almost got instead, but now I'm so glad I didn't! Kjersti is SO me, even down to the language she uses in her diary. I was laughing and cringing to see all the things I say in there! But sadly, my Kjersti has a bad case a wonk-eye and it's really bumming me out. I can always give her a new face once the weather warms up, but I really wanted to keep her in factory form. I might just pick up a second one once she comes out in my hometown and repaint this one.
The other day while doll shopping I saw the new styling head and I swear to God it had freaking wonk eye. Even on a nearly human sized head they still mess it up.
That said, if my doll budget wasn't so tight I'd buy that thing in a heartbeat. I was obsessed with the Barbie styling heads when I was little. Such a cool concept! I'm surprised it took MH this long to get one on the market.
Out of like 24 Casta's at 2 different Walmarts they ALL had eye issues ALL OF THEM...TWENTY FOUR DOLLS D: so I left with Cleolei instead..Casta will have to wait ):
