“ hey, “ almost  immediately  the  male  is  draping  his  arms  over  the  other’s  shoulders , chest  pressed  up  against  the  other’s  back  as  he  rested  his  chin  against  their  shoulder. “ what’re  your  plans  like  tonight  and  are  the  able  to  squeeze  in me  and  a  last  minute  sleepover ? “ there  was  no  use  in  dancing  around  what  he  was  looking  for : a  place  to  stay. with  the  weather  getting  cooler  and  cooler  in  the  evening  sleeping  outside  was  quickly  not  becoming  an  option  for  him. he  could  go  home,  but  the  bruises  from  his  last  visit  there  were  finally  almost  gone. angel  didn’t  understand  why  his  father  seemed  to  care  so  much  about  his  whereabouts  outside  of  the  man  missing  his  favorite  punching  bag  but  usually  after  extended  periods  of  him  not  coming  home  his  father’s  rage  was  worse  than  usual.  which  logically  he  expected  but  still  couldn’t  wrap  his  head  around. “ my  dad’s  away  for  business  last  minute  and  i  don’t  want  to  stay  home  alone. it’s  creepily  quiet. “ he  pouted.

jaehyun looks down at the other, pursing his lips into a tight line. “yeah, i get it. it’s the same for me.” he shrugs his shoulders, juggling a basketball he found on mickey’s floor. he hadn’t expected to end up at his house, but he needed to grab something he had left in order for him to train. they met in the fighting scene, both with bloody knuckles and a cut lip as their welcoming invitation to the other. he’s sitting at his desk, leaning back on the chair that occupied it. finally stopping, he places the basketball down as his foot steps on it, pushing it away as he leans against the cushioning. “how about we go on a late night run to the convenience store? skate through the park, down a few slopes?” that was another thing he found that they had in common: skateboarding. it helped jaehyun get to places that the subway couldn’t get to, to destinations that were usually hidden from the human eye unless you had the vision of a hawk. he rubs his hands, watching his friend groan in misery. poor kid. he gets it though, sometimes insomnia got the best of him and he wouldn’t be able to sleep until the very last second of the sun rising over the horizon.

Rayner had his arms crossed over his thin shirt as he scanned the crowd of sleepy college kids. The dorms were emptied out because of a fire alarm and everyone was kicked out onto the parking lot and it just had to be after midnight. Of course no matter what time of the year it was, it was always too cold this late. He rubbed his hands over his arms and let out a huff, he didn’t even get the chance to grab a jacket or his blanket before their RA burst through their room and all but shoved Rayner out of his bed. At least he was coherent enough to put on some slippers. His eyes narrowed as he glanced over at his obnoxiously tall roommate. “If I find out you’ve got anything to do with this, I’m requesting a transfer. Well, I’m requesting your transfer,” he threatened, but his tone was too light and there was already a small smile spreading over his features. No matter how hard he tried (see: not at all), he just couldn’t be mad at Kingsley.

                                   ❝ welcome everybody to the first class! today we're starting off easy and making chicken alfredo. it's a versatile dish that your loved ones will be so impressed when you make it for them! ❞     sunju began, looking around the full class with obvious satisfaction. at first, he hadn't been too sure about the 'cooking lessons with a celebrity' his manager had pitched to him but in the end he decided to try it. luckily, his boyfriend agreed to also take the class to give him a point of comfort. being in front of crowds hardly bothered him when he filmed constantly but this fell into a different category. with the tv show, he had other costars cooking along with him and with youtube he could stop and edit if necessary or even film a segment again. the class began and sunju walked through, offering comments and stopping to help when needed. he finally approached his boyfriend's station and couldn't help but crinkle his nose up.    ❝ babe —— are you following the recipe? that —— doesn't smell right. ❞     he quickly nudged him aside to see what he might have done wrong.    ❝ here. i'm going to dispose this and help you start off right. ❞     he ditched the contents of the pan and showed him how to add the ingredients to make the sauce.    ❝ get the water boiling. the pasta won't take too long. you can start on the chicken in the meantime. make sure it isn't pink before you add it to the sauce, okay, sweetheart? ❞    

   ❝ tea means moving, ❞     minghao sighed out but the petting helped to soothe some of the horror of this realization.    ❝ yes, i would like some. i'm going to color while you make it. ❞     sitting up slowly, he grabbed for his coloring books on the nightstand. adult coloring books, thank you very much. he loved the process of picking out colors and filling them in on a picture, all while doodling around the edges. masterpieces one marvel character a time. his current coloring books of choice had all been superhero based but before had geared towards disney princesses.    ❝ hurry back, ❞     he offered, making a kissy face and then blowing a kiss for good measure.    ❝ i'll color you a picture in your absence. are you feeling more like steve rogers tonight or bucky barnes? i'll clearly be the other one. they're in love, you know. ❞     don't even get him started on marvel pairings.

This is what she deserved for trying to have a fun night to herself. The awkwardness was overwhelming as she sat at the bar alone. She had been out of the dating pool for too long and she never even approached a girl before. Hana frowned into her drink, wondering if it was time to just give up and leave. The thought was solidified when her annoying coworker walked into the bar and she tried to hide her face with her hair, hoping he didn't see her but it didn't feel like enough. Wildly looking the other direction, she grabbed at the first person she saw. Fingers locked around their wrist, she tugged the woman closer with an apologetic look on her face. "I'm so sorry, this is rude of me but," she began awkwardly, not knowing where to go from here. All she knew was that she needed to look busy or he was going to try to convince her that she was just 'going through a phase' again and that wasn't a conversation she wanted to have. "Can you pretend to be my girlfriend? Or girl... that's a friend? This guy I know came in and-" she pouted lightly, wishing the ground would just swallow her whole.

the  woo  apartment  never  had  visitors.  never.  so  to  hear  someone  knocking , especially  at  this  hour  surprised  the  freshly  bleached  blond  boy.  the  panic  set  in  almost  immediately  after as  he  ran  as  quietly  as  he  could  through  the  apartment , stopping  in  the  living  room  to  make  sure  his  dad  was  still  passed  out  on  the  couch. the  man  laid  passed  out , the  only  light  filling  the  area  coming  from  the  television ,  so  angel  made  his  way  to  the  front  door  and  pulling  it  open.  he  opened  his  mouth  to  speak,  surprise  evident  at  the  other  in  front  of  him  with  worry  quickly  following  it  as  he  took  in  the  other.  he  doesn’t  register  the  other  is  kissing  him  until  a  few seconds  after  it’s  happening , eyes  fluttering  shut. taking  a  few  steps  towards  the  other  he  pulled  the  door  shut  behind  him. “ what’s -— ” he  doesn’t  finish  his  sentence  as  draven  cut  him  off  with  a  hand  over  his  mouth. angel  nodded , knees  going  weak  as  the  draven’s  lips  press  against  his  neck  a  small  noise  of  pleasure  coming  from  his  throat. raising  his  hand  up  to  pull draven’s  hand  off his  mouth. “ okay, okay. “ he  said  softly,  linking  his  fingers  between his. “ my  dad’s  passed  out  on  the  couch  so  you  need  to  be  quiet  on  the  way  to  my  room okay? “ he said  as  he  reached  behind  him  to grab  the  door handle  and  quietly  opening  the  door  before  he  slowly  started  walking  back  into  the  apartment.

once, minghao lived in an easy bliss, skipping from one activity to the next, never lingering too long with anything. the world had too much to offer for him to limit himself in such a way but the death of his father changed everything. the elders yanked him from his merriment and set down law after law in front of him. they expected him to be perfect and to never step a toe out of line, which could not be him. it could not even be in the same vicinity of his true personality. but he tried, oh, did he try even with the failures raking up. why hadn't his father made his older brother the heir? his brother knew how to do EVERYTHING and so efficiently. why pick the screw up? he knew everyone else thought the very same thing. in his current nightmare, they were all dead and because of his inaptitude to act quickly enough. all the bodies were spread out in front of him but caspar's broke him the worst.    ❝ i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry, ❞     he sobbed,    ❝ it should be me. please, let it be me instead. ❞     his nightmare version screamed and screamed but his suddenly awake self sobbed instead. a dry sob and one he reigned in quickly enough. his eyes fluttered open and he clutched onto caspar as hard as he could.    ❝ just a stupid dream, ❞     he rasped out, loosen his hold and forcing a laugh.    ❝ did i. were you doing something? did i interrupt? ❞     best to direct the attention elsewhere.
