A note from #SethGodin and WÜLF UNIVERSITY on how to get your ideas to spread.
1. Whether your selling a product or a service what you are really trying to do is to get your idead to spread.
2. The way ideas spread is by being remarkable.
3. And by speaking to people who have a Otaku, o·ta·ku, a person who is obsessed with a particular aspect of culture.
4. And if you are remarkable, these Otaku people will make remarks, and hopefully will tell other people, because people believe the people who really care about that something.
5. Know that remarkable and boring are enemies. And know to get something to be remarkable, and worth remarking, from people who have a passion or Otaku, it will take several attempts and may be risky. To be not boring is risky.
6. And know what marketers and brands use to do was make average things for average people aka mass marketing, now what they have to do is speak to a niche people who are ossessed about a particular something, and if you are lucky, they will spread your idea like a virus.
7. This requires commitment, consistentcy, courage, patience, listening, risk and persistence. No quick gimmicks.
