+ " You know me so WELL ! " There was no sign of any RESTRAINT in the way Mary Jane voiced every word . When she was in the right mood , the playfulness in her SASS might as well have been a SWORD that she knew how to wield to every bit of potential EFFECT . Even on those she considered ALLIES . No-one was spared , although SOME might have been granted a bit of MERCY compared to others .

❛ Logan? Oh. But I only just met him... ❛ Tweezed brows knit in a furrow of feigned apprehension. Whatever veil of innocence she draws over her countenance like a glamour does not last. She's hiding a growing smile into her drink, sweet perversion brightening her dark, unending eyes, in the next few moments.

She's still attempting to recover from the last admission of attraction,  having flagging down the bartender for a replenished tequila sunrise  —long overdue,  if you ask her.  A quick tip of her glass and she's burning in the chest,  setting down her drink with a hard click.  She has her answer in a swift beat.

❛  Logan.  That's easy.  ❛   She's simpering,  swirling the tiny cocktail straw in her glass.  It was easy.  She doesn't see many men who look like him,  but she wishes she did.  His face was always kinda grumpy and that made her like him all the more.  

❛   Do you have a wine bottle opener?  ❛   Weird question,  maybe,  to ask in the middle of a crowded Sunday at the park.  But she's desperate.  Side-sitting on a picnic blanket with the coveted bottle held in between her thighs,  she looks up at the other  —squinting in the sun. 

❛  I really,  really need a wine bottle opener.  ❛   Her voice is husky,  insistent.  Coarse from the cigarettes she smokes.  She holds out the bottle of expensive red wine  —its cork was already ripped to pieces with her efforts to dig it out,  though it was still doing its job of stopping the wine from flowing.   ❛  It's dire.  ❛

God, he wished that he was just a little less visibly flustered. Not being able to get the right words out of his mouth was normal for Forrest, but he can tell by the way his face feels that he is more blush than himself at this point. He almost covers his face, but resists the urge, and instead, gives a bit of a laugh. It's a sound, at least.

❛  I don't believe in fine lines.  You live to smother me.  ❛   She muses,  dark satin pout drawn with no effort to limit the dramatics of her face.  It's some kind of lie uttered by a woman too petulant to mind that what she was saying sounded,  perhaps,  a little silly.  She jams her narrow cocktail straw into her nearly-dwindled drink,  rattling the ice melting in her glass with some agitation. 

Obsidian gaze flickers down the bar  —toward the older man that Logan had only just scared off after he'd tried,  a little too drunk  —a little too aggressive,  to come onto Donna.  That same man  —wearing his designer sunglasses indoors,  artificial smile  —is now chatting up another,  younger woman.  In a more sober form,  she might have been gracious toward her companion for him stepping in.   But she is far from sober.  Madonna shifts,  bumping her small shoulder against Logan's side and flashing him an aggrieved look.   

 ❛  But whatever.  Are you gonna buy me a new drink?  ❛ 

        “  you’re an awfully  ROWDY  thing,  aren’t you?  is it  really  so exciting that we’ve already walked by this building?  if you’re so curious,  you should just go inside by yourself.  ”
