I'm writing that fic for sure (bear with me, I'm slow at actual fic writing lol) but here's some ideas:

I view Bunny Will and Wolf Mike definitely as animal-human hybrids. They have more fur/body hair than their normal human counterparts. Mike has a soft black tail and big ears, Will's skin even where not furry feels almost soft and velvety. He's got big floppy brown ears and a cute little tail. Mike's got claws, but he's really careful with them around his bunny...

Will thumps his foot when he's excited or mad or anxious. He's got cute big feet, fur on them. He jumps around when he's excited. And he's really fast. Mike can't help but rile him up and chase him around just to see him goooo.

Will likes to sleep outside a lot. He's so calmed and centered by nature, often falling asleep randomly in the garden or out in the woods, hidden in some tall grass or under the brush and shrubs. Mike is so in tune with him he often can sniff him out, even if Will's pretty good at hiding...

When Will gets scared, he sometimes totally freezes up and can't move. It freaks Mike out but despite the trust between them, the predator-prey dynamic overrides their friendship and relationship. Mike soothes the bunny back to calmness, but feels so bad, even if they can't help the natural instincts and reactions.

Scratching Mike's wolf ears makes him get really happy and energetic, but petting Will's bunny ears makes his fur stand on end and his whole body get tingly, danger, freaks him out - so no one can touch except Mike. And Will loves the way Mike does it. Melts him and feels reallllllly nice.

They both struggled to hide their crushes on each other once their friendship changed from that to more, because Will's ears would rise a lot when he was happy and Mike's traitorous tail would wag and twitch far too often just at the sight of Will.

Sorry I was away for a second and couldn't answer this after I reblogged - yessss I was so happy to see some wolfmike! 🙊 that art honestly made me remember how I adore bunwill x human mike, and of course the hybrids paired together, but haven't really explored wolfmike x human will as much... that art's a nice visual 🤭

but also, why do i always imagine bunwill as leaping and hopping like an actual bunny? in my head he literally cannot, does not, walk like a human hahahahhaha

this makes the idea of him going anywhere without being carried absurd hahah

yeah help! as soon as I said/thought it with the other ask it was over, it's giving wolf/alpha mike 😭😵‍💫

And that's so fair on bunwill honestly, it changes even for myself! sometimes he looks like actual will + the features (but probably more petite) and sometimes it's more of a blend with animation for some of the movement. like how people would draw hybrid type characters! I think maybe the animation feel comes from all the anime/video games that feature hybrid characters so you see how they do function while still human looking

I personally can visualize it because I love the thought of him padding around the house, but I get how complete realism can be hard to picture! at the very least to me he's excitable and more bouncy when he talks and would sit in more tucked ways that make him look small, than human. him hopping/bounding over things might not be too crazy honestly, parkour boy? 😂 I love hearing how people perceive the au tbh

I'm also literally always thinking about the anon who said bunwill would get binkies like bunnies do 🫠 and this visual of noah is always on my mind for it
