#wolf version

“Know your place, Red.” 

Another piece of art I did (I tried improving on background, but meh, I’m severely lacking, I must train more upon the subject ^^).

In this, Ink is reprimanding Red because the latter did something disgraceful or rude. In fact, the position of Ink inside of the pack is higher than Red’s one. 

I didn’t explain before, but inside of a pack, there is a system with ranks, based on respect and powerfulness. This means that within the pack, you cannot do certain things, viewed as impolite or disrespectful, even sometimes outright rude to somebody that is under you, on the same level as you are, and certainly not on someone who is higher up.  

Instead, you have certain duties regarding you position, and some rights (like teaching the pups and juveniles, leading patrols, planning strategies, dealing with difficult members of the pack, etc...).

In this situation, Red clearly did something wrong, and Ink is stepping up to subdue and calm Red down before the red wolf damages more his own honour, or harms himself and other individuals.

Also, before I put the disclaimers, I would like to announce something (it’s not important per say, but I thought that mentioning it might be useful, to limit surprise or confusion if it were to appear ;) ). 

I watched tutorials on certain things (the way to apply color on a figure, to add shadow, brightness, etc...) and it was pretty insightful, honestly. Taught me a looot of things :3 . But just after, I just observed that it... modified my style a bit? I don’t know, tell me if it’s just me, but when I started drawing again and adding colors, I just thought “Well... That’s different, but good ?”. Let me know if you find the next drawing similar to the ones I did before, or kind of new :D .

found some ancient Johannes Cabal art from 2017 and decided to draw it! it’s gross and i hate it! honestly i hated it at the time too lol.

it was p lazy at the time so the redraw was too. it’s of some scene after Johannes’ gf dies or something idk. mixed feelings on the new one. i like some aspects and not so much the others. the rainbow sky was unintentional, i was just fuckin around with the bg. i don’t think it fits the vibe but i kinda liked it so i left it.

the lyrics are from little talks by of monsters and men since i was big on the band at the time.

also Johannes and Berenice are different animals now. i think they’re wolves in the og, they’re cats now tho. been making human characters into animals for years now babeyy 

my art has definitely become more glowy? i guess? which is ironic as i usually prefer softer aesthetics and more cozy vibes.

So, again, another wolf, it’s Cross from the Underverse AU this time ! (I freaking love this story, Jakei has really done a great job *^*).

I hope you are all well during this dificult time, as well as your family, your friends and your entourage in general. 

The Covid crisis in my country is making people nervous and fearful, and the government is trying to tidy the all situation up, but it’s a tough task. 

But I don’t lose hope, and neither should you :). By respecting the rules, I think we can save a few lives and help the hospital staff to manage the situation a bit better. 

By the way, this is the final version of the drawing I made, but @hoverinpeace gave me an idea, which will be used for another drawing ^^.

Error when he was an adolescent, a year and a month exactly ^^ 

I like to think that that was around this age that he began to think about the mechanics of the world surrounding him, how other animals behaved and thought, be them of his kind or not, and finding holes in morals and faults in individuals. 

Yes, I think that Error is rather clever, and questions a lot of things around him in order to be more aware of his surroundings, to better grasp his environnement, for his safety but also to sate his curiosity.
