I just watched this and... absolutely no words what in actual hell

Right so I've been getting quite a few asks like this and I really dont think this is the right time. Pernille has played for Wolfsburg for almost 4 seasons now. She has lived and breathed this team, won everything except the elusive cl title with them, given her all to the team, been propelled to new heights thanks to the environment she's been in. Despite it all she of all people would have been dying to win the champions league today and even if she's leaving there mustn't be much space in her mind right now for anything but this loss.

I appreciate the fact that going to play for chelsea is something she's had in mind for ages now, that the thought of playing with magda once again must seem heavenly, but it's not just another game that she's lost today it's a goddammed cl final which once again has been clinched from her grasp by Lyon. Maybe she does really want to leave and try her luck elsewhere, but she would have given it all for a win today and her effort and bond with this team cannot be broken down to just this.

As for the terrible interview which I'd like to delete from my memory almost as much as im sure she wants to, she wasnt smiling at the prospect of leaving for chelsea, she was awkwardly smiling because of how uncomfortable these questions were getting for her. She definitely cant wait to see magda but these are two separate concepts which we have to be sure to keep apart.

Literally translated it's “go cry at the crying place” but really it's quite a new, abrasive expression which is referring to everyone who's crying right now over the fact that she's won a champions league medal and the fact that they're just going to have to suck it up. Whether that be any haters or the atleti management or a combination of both who knows 😂
