"No shit." Logan huffs. "This place is a fuckin' wreck." To put it lightly. It reeks of depression. Every step feels like it's nudging an empty can, a fast food wrapper, or who knows what (Logan would rather not ask). There's a handful of knives stuck in the wall, and he decides not to ask about that, either.

"The hell happened to you? You lose out on a mark or somethin'?" He pauses and wrinkles his nose at the room, then looks back to Wade.

wade's  ramblings  turn  to  dull  noise  in  her  ears,  where  lois  would  normally  bicker  back  with  him,  fueled  by  his  inane  logic.  now  ...  she'd  completely  laxed  her  body,  eyes  looking  almost  directly  into  the  sun  with  such  a  disconnected  expression.  wade  supported  her  weight  easily.  one  hand  pulling  her  thigh  taught,  the  other  gripping  both  of  her  wrists  around  his  neck  in  a  pseudo  -  bind.  (  from  her  previous  escape  attempts,  and  general  irritation  at  being  smacked  repeatedly.  )  lois  simply  gave  in.

an accusation. [ it's not an accusation if it's true. ] an exaggeration. [ no, you really did it. ] wanda doesn't like wade's tone. brows furrow and arms cross over her chest. " i am bound to no man! " she snaps. " so maybe i'm a little fickle. it's endearing! " white orbs glare at him. " tell me it's endearing, " she demands through her teeth. " besides! maybe you shouldn't be so trusting. especially of your counterpart. especially of the better counterpart. " wanda looks him up and down, tapping her foot.

" i don't really care if you stay. " blonde hair briefly splays across the bar as illyana rolls her neck, the clear boredom in her tone betraying the front of indifference held up for the majority of the event. no alcohol. what a joke. probably one of the few things they'd agree on. however, emma demanded everyone be on their best behaviour -- 'with absolutely no repeats of last time.' so she'd instead resigned herself to sulking, leant back against the useless bar while hoping she'd be left alone. though luck had never been on her side. too bad neena hadn't made it.

anyway.

at  least  this  means  it's  still  reasonable  to  be  pissed  with  wade  for  leaving  his  arse  behind  in  jail.  whatever.  rolling  his  cider  between  his  hands  ,  callused  thumbs  idly  draw  shapes  into  damp  perspiration—  no  rhyme  nor  reason  to  the  patterns.  granted  ,  the  merc  isn't  the  strangest  acquaintance  he's  ever  made  ,  but  he  certainly  is  up  there  in  the  top  ten  ,  roughly.

huffing  out  a  noise  best  settled  between  amused  and  exasperated  ,  mismatched  eyes  glare  at  the  other  from  beneath  the  swathe  of  a  thick  bang.  the  curl  of  his  lip  too  is  hard  to  pinpoint.  annoyance?  sleazy?
