So it seems as though a large number of the bands I came to discover last year, or rediscover if they were a reimagining of bands I already enjoyed (or in this case a side project) have been hard at work and putting out stuff a couple years running. Quality stuff, at that. Sadly it seems VERSA has fully faded, though Blake is at least producing music. Digression aside, we come to another one of those bands that has been creating good music once more. WLFPCK has released a second EP in the past year and itās more good stuff to give a listen. If you missed my article last year, give this band a shot!

WLFPCK: Mistake
I donāt post half as muchĀ ārockā on here as I used to, mostly because I genuinely donāt think there are many bands on at the moment who are actually really worth talking about. But not today. WLFPCK, I can only assume itās said like Wolf Pack but itās just written sans vowels, are a band from Arizona in the big olā US of A. There are five of them and at least one of them used to be in Anarbor, which is cool if you liked bands like Anarbor as a teenager (or as a human of any age).Ā
āMistakeā is taken from their second EP, helpfully titledĀ āVol. 2ā, which is being released THIS Friday. Itās nice this, like an indie/pop/rock vibe. WLFPCK seem to be getting compared to The 1975 a lot, but they donāt rrrrrreally sound much like The 1975 - lazy comparison, Iād say. And Iād also say that they sound like a much more clean cut, ready for radio version of bands similar to Anarbor - The Maine and The Summer Set sort of thing. But thatās just me.
