Hufflepuffs accepting literally anyone that needed help, a place to study or just wanted a friend. Always asking if anyone needed a snack, they could just pop to the kitchen and get anything they wanted, it was never a hassle.
Ravenclaws applauding anyone who could answer their riddles, those people eventually becoming regulars and just chilling with all the claws, debating and having dmcs' with them about life.
Slytherins taking in those who felt left out, or who needed a place to lay low, whether their common room was too rowdy or they just needed to be alone. They had a basket of blankets by the door, if you just wanted to chill and be left alone you'd wear a silver one, if you wanted some company a green one.
Gryffindors making sure that people were welcome and inviting anyone who wanted to chat or play chess etc into the common room. They never let anyone get cold, constantly topping up the fire and making sure visitors were sat as close as possible.

A lot of slytherins had that 'bad bitch', 'don't mess with me' kinda vibe, but there are those that just want to make friends, from any house, and have a group of people to talk to, or that like giving hugs, or that like helping out those group of first years with transfiguration. Not all slytherins are these fierce, unemotional characters, we can't forget the cinnamon buns too.

273. Ravenclaws had a tradition, every year after the sorting feast the whole house would gather in the common room. Friends would reunite after the summer and discuss/debate their new interests or discoveries, and each seventy year would choose a firstie to gift their favourite book too; a tradition that happened every year.
