Okay okay i have this oddly specific scenario in my head. After half a year of being married to (any character that fits), you accidentally lose the very expensive ring he bought you. You feel terrible and you immediately tell him, sobbing in his arms and asking for his forgiveness but hes just running his hands through your hair and telling you its okay and that youll look for it together!!!

he would be so confused about why you’re crying at first when you came running at him, tears streaming down your cheeks like a waterfall :( immediately wraps his arms around you, pushing your body snugly against his own, pressing kisses on your head as he asks “what’s wrong”
he’d laugh softly when you tell him you lost the expensive ring he bought you on accident while you were at the hospital for a check up. you’re choking on your words and trying your best to stop your tears, but it’s so hard to breathe, you just feel so so so bad 🙁
would be so concerned about your health, asking why you went to the hospital without letting him know, he would’ve went with you! smiles when this seemed to distract you from the loss of the ring as you begin to ramble about how it’s just a regular health check, and it’s nothing of concern
“shh, hey, hey, look at me.”
he’d cup your face with both hands, squishing your cheeks slightly before pecking your nose and pouty lips, “what matters is that you’re healthy and safe. I can always just get you another ring, you know I have the money.” and you’d slap his chest lightly, mumbling about how that’s not the point, you just feel horrible for losing something so precious
proceeds to suggest in a teasing tone, “how about making it up to me, hmm? let me take you out to dinner, and spend your precious time on me as punishment?” he’d laugh and cage you into his embrace again when you tell him, “fine, but I’m paying for dinner.”
