hehe okay so

Right now in Hisui Luculia is clinging to Cynthia like a barnacle because she generally doesn't like the company of people she doesn't know, and while at this point she'd be warming up to Volo on account of like, desensitisation through exposure lmao, I think she just unconditionally likes Juno the best right now. Which is a little ironic because Juno is just an OC I never even planned to put in, but because they're just a teenager Luculia can be less reserved around them in favour of being a Reliable Adult.

I don't think it's much of a spoiler though to say that I hope to flesh out more of a friendship between her and Volo as time goes on, because if you've seen PLA's endgame you know where this is going dfsjljkl. Cynthia and Volo's friendship is an obvious one for obvious reasons but I don't think it'd be satisfying to get to the end and have Luculia just be. Indifferent.

Luculia's friendships in the present are very nonexistent lmao, though I will say I'm planning to write a chapter of In Too Deep that delves a little more into her personal life to ideally be dropped when she makes her first mention of that in-comic. What I can say though is that she has an older sister in law who she's not like close with but nonetheless has a good relationship with.

As for mythical/legendary Pokemon uuh, there's a few things I'm hoping to flesh out as I go in regards to things like religion and folklore but for Luculia I think it's fair to say she's got a personal little bias about Regigigas thanks to her little trip to Snowpoint temple.

Hairstyles. I'm studying them already but (???) why are they so hard lmao

It'd been a wild ride doing Rangi specifically. I challenged myself to draw her more often and it became easier over time. I'm proud of it x)

I'm a weirdo so you won't find any "fjdjdjd" kind of names on my files. I got them all organized, with the right titles. It'd be a pain otherwise if I had to look for them for their wrong name

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so what

25/8 headphones on the head. Considering drawing a mini-me with them glued to my ears.

As long as it's something vibrant and high-energy, I'm good with everything.

13. A creator who you admire but whose work isn't your thing

Najja Porter and John Rocco

I grew up with their work. I always get so marveled when they post an illustration or a sketch. Their work is insanely stunning and so full of life.

Hands and mouths. Now I'm not the best at drawing them lmaoooo I have a long way to go but imo those two are the most expressive (next to the eyes, of course)

I was actually thinking about this apropos of nothing but. Timeline-wise I stick her in Kalos when she’s 14-18, so she’d effectively have been a teenager for the late end of the 90s-00s Paris rave scene.

Thank you!! I have a lot of tidbits about her backstory figured out even where they won't really be relevant, and one thing is that she grew up hopping back and forth from Sinnoh and Kalos, Snowpoint and Snowbelle city specifically, so skiing and ice skating were two things she could do regardless of which region she was in. I imagine she got pretty good too, but naturally kept those sports as a pastime and not as anything serious
