WitchSpring R will launch for Xbox One alongside its free downloadable content “The Follower’s Fall” on August 22 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET, developer Kiwi Walks announced.
The downloadable content will include “post-ending stories of the main characters, tales of new warlords, and a new storyline centered on a mysterious follower,” as well as full voice acting in both Japanese and Korean.

Kiwi Walks has announced WitchSpring R downloadable content “The Follower’s Fall.” It will launch in August as free update.
The content will include “post-ending stories of the main characters, tales of new warlords, and a new storyline centered on a mysterious follower,” as well as full voice acting in both Japanese and Korean.
WitchSpring R is available now for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam, and is coming to Xbox One at a later date. To celebrate the downloadable content’s announcement, a 35 percent discount will be offered on the base game and all previously released downloadable content, with promotion dates varying by platform.

WitchSpring R is the console and PC remake of the original WitchSpring, a now-defunct mobile game. Although the narrative deals with themes of racism, war, and religion, it is a comedic and child-friendly game, and this is reflected in the romance being fairly light-hearted and innocent.
Pieberry's love interest is Justice, a warrior who blames witches for his father's death and harbours a strong hatred of them as a result. Meeting Pieberry and spending time with her slowly begins to change his mind, and after learning that Pieberry's race were scapegoated and not the monsters that they were made out to be, he allies himself firmly with Pieberry, ultimately falling in love with her. Pieberry, on the other hand, fell in love with Justice at first sight, and even refuses to kill him in self-defense at first because she finds him handsome.
Pieberry begins the game trapped as a pre-teen girl, having had her aging stopped for at least ten years. Partway through the game, a deity breaks the seal on her aging, and she magically ages up to her true mental and physical age of an adult. The romance with Justice does not start until after this event has happened.
