Geraskier HC
So we all know that Witchers have two swords. One for humans. One for monsters. Geralt has Renfri’s brooch on the sword that kills monsters. Now, after he yelled at Jaskier and he left, as far as Geralt knew, for good, he was alone again. Sure, maybe he had Ciri and Yen but still. He lost his bard and it was all his fault. One evening, drunk, he goes to a nearby goldsmith and gives him the instructions for a specific pendant. Over the next few days, he forgot about it until the goldsmith contacts him again with the finished product. Unable to refuse it, he took it. Geralt considered throwing it away or give it to someone but he couldn’t bring himself to. One evening as he stopped for the night, he sat by the fire, admiring the pendant. Fuck, he missed Jaskier. He missed his smiles and his constant talking and his beautiful voice when he sang. Even if he never admitted it to him. But it was better this way. Jaskier would be safe now. If he was not close to Geralt, he couldn’t get hurt. He wouldn’t be in danger. After a while, the silver shining in the fire, he sighed and grabbed his sword, attaching the pendant to it. From now on, his human-killing sword is adorned with a silver pendant, engraved with a Dandelion, some of it’s seeds flying off into the wind. Reminding him how easily the most beautiful things can leave you.
