The last revenge
Correct thinking in my world
You need to practice your parking, pal.
(Uncanny Spider-Man #1)
A timely video especially regarding thoughts I’ve had lately on the parallels between Musk and Ford after visiting the Henry Ford Museum.
Ford’s innovations in the field of industry and transportation fundamentally changed culture in the United States. Our relationship to work, transportation, and attitudes towards public services were forever altered by the marketing tactics of a man who wanted to become a feudal lord.
My greatest fear lately is that we’re sleepwalking into another fundamental shift in our relationship to technology. As a millennial, corporations pushing unneeded technology into our lives that becomes ubiquitous is a precedent I’ve witnessed my entire life. “Innovations” seem to be happening more for the sake of continually increasing profit than for the sake of enriching the lives of humanity.
Technofeudalism is an obvious end result if this system continues.
