Working on our Driver’s Ed video for A Treasure Coast Driving School! I miss the students so much. Praying they will take the time to watch it while taking their online class this school year! We all need to remember that having a drivers license is a privilege! There are rules to follow when driving! If we don’t follow them it’s going to be hard to teach our kids to follow them. If the guy that caused Brianna’s accident would have made “wiser choices” a lot of things would be different today…So many things! This is Brianna’s Drive Safely marker on Kanner and Pomeroy sadly there are lots in our little town and on the highways. When you see these signs take a moment and remember that sign represents a life gone too soon! ~ use your blinker ~ look both ways ~ NO TEXTING ~ No distractions ~ Follow Speed Limit Signs The list is long but these are just a few things to remember. As we prepare to celebrate 4th of July weekend and we are gathering with family and friends will be sure to happen please remember to drive responsibly! Distractions are real and they can happen to the best drivers. Taking your eyes off the road and wheel can be tragic. This is my car crash from 3/2/21!! I honestly have nightmares driving down 96th now worried if someone slightly inches over. I watched two pickup trucks on I-95 in every lane but their own. I am so grateful to be here today. One poor choice could have made this crash very bad. This driver was doing something and realized last minute she was in the wrong lane. If you have a new driver please have them watch this. If it makes then stop and think it served it’s purpose. I am good with that because it could save a life I pray 🙏🏻!! I am not sharing to scare anyone just hope to stop the distractions behind the wheel. I love our community with all my heart and want nothing but #greatthingsbchsf from all ages when driving!!! When you receive beautiful pictures and Thank you’s for bringing Heavenly Smiles to the faces of a child you know what you are doing makes a difference! One poor choice changed these kids lives forever! We are so happy to hear that Ashley is doing very well healing and her kids are having a great time with their family!! We continue to pray for Jackie who lost her husband and the children who are missing their stepdad after a tragic accident on the Highway. Not only the lives pictured but a young man with a bright future also has life changing injuries that he’s recovering from. All families lives were changed forever due to a poor decisions made by another driver. We have to STOP the distractions!! Please!!!! If we can continue to keep these families lifted in prayer I know it would mean a lot to them… Huge Thank you to our donors and sponsors! I truly love to see these cars on the road but seeing Bri’s Butterfly brings a smile to my face! Not being in the classroom with our Martin and St.Lucie students has been so sad! I know they have the online option but I just don’t feel it’s the same as having the teacher teach and the guest speakers share! Yes I was one of those guest speakers but I wasn’t the only. Each speaker was special and had important message to share. The students NEED to “Hear and See”!! I had the honor of spending a summer session with many of men and women who spoke. I can tell you it had an impact on me. The distracted driving in our community lately has been out of control. A co-worker of mine was almost involved in what ended up being tragic car crash involving a mother and her one month old. (Mom survived sadly baby passed away) All because the other driver looked away for a brief moment. This can’t keep happening!! We are loosing our children and children are loosing their parents because of poor choices while driving. Texting and Driving, Driving Under the Influence, so many distractions. Our kids need the skills to be able to make split minute decisions. One of our wonderful sponsors @atcdrivingschool offers private Driving lessons and through the Martin County school district an online course. Please consider this option for your new drivers. We are working on adding Brianna’s Story to the lesson currently. Thank you @jbfromfla70 for your dedication to the students!
