This is artwork I have drawn with limited reference. At least once a day at or around 12:00 PM, there should be new artwork.
Wisemoths are disgusting.
They are smugglers and bandits, and trade away ill-gotten fabric to the spawnmasters. The spawnmasters, in turn, feed the spawn until they are plump.
When it is time for tribute to be surrendered, a fire mimic–a wise "odd" monster that is covered in reddish fur–gains the vast majority of the valuables.
When Wisemoths were [...]
first created, they only attacked wanderers and rogues for their outer garments, but quickly, under the orders of the Moon, that changed.
These monsters are known to torment the pleasant countryside folk, the resourceful city paupers, and the proud bourgeois, breaking into their homes and closets to steal their fabrics.
Frightfully, the wisemoths that get into the castles and palaces show no mercy, and rob the nobility and even the monarchs. Huge tapestries, curtains, rugs, silken gowns, wool suits, brightly-dyed robes, and more are stolen. The vast wardrobes are emptied, and even the foul laundry, to be cleaned by the laundresses and lord chamberlains, is snatched up. No dignity is given to those of blue blood.
Story
One time, some aristocratic humans of the Kingdom dishonored the Earth by hunting too many extra stags for sport. The Earth goddess withdrew her protection. When the wisemoths came, they reduced the noblemen and noblewoman to shaking in their loincloths and chemises, and left the children without socks or caps. The wisemoths took great joy in their successful robberies, and used their utter misery to enchant their talismans. Luckily, the paladins came to their aid, and reduced the monsters to dust. To prevent this from ever happening again, the noble family completed rituals of appeasement.

"1 in 4 sters is unusually dazzling. What a sweet, perfumed dream that may suffocate us all." –Alistair, Monster Specialist Wizard
Aligned with wind, wyverns of the Project are able to spit clouds that rain green acid. This one is unusual, able to summon a fragrant, corrosive gas from his pores.

Pristine Worldbuilding: Spawning, Marriage, and Ugliness
"Spawn are cared for by spawnmasters. Once they have grown into mons or sters, payment for their care is a year's worth of labor." –Wizard (beastiary specialist)
"Children are holy to the Sun and Earth. Unfortunately, the monsters create half-monsters, which are doomed. This despicable act gladdens the Moon." –Wizardess (beastiary specialist)
"Monsters defile the idea of marriage by marrying Nature Folk, (and humans) which greatly displeases the Sun and Earth." –Temple Grandfather
""False diamonds," in their arrogance and lust for a life befitting royalty, work harder than perhaps all other monsters in destroying the societies of Nature Folk and humans of the Kingdom. May they rot in the eternal Winter of the Moon." –Wizard (general: scholarly)
"Those who are conquered by the monarchs of the Moon's Hel may slip into an eternal waking sleep. May they recover in the names of the Stars." –Temple Mother
