I don't want to worry you. . My mom: Amanda. Tell me what is wrong. . I go into a very complicating and traumatic story that tries to encompass a horrifying time in my life... . ... to which my mom replies: . "Your problem is you don't think you are deserving of everything you have. . And I don't understand why. . You have to let that shit go. . This is not real. . This is not you. . You get to decide. . I learned this from you. . Amanda, you can do this. . You can do this better than anyone. . God gave you a gift. . You are helping people. . This is your gift to the world. . What you give is so meaningful. . You aren't just teaching them how to make money; You are teaching them how to be. . You deserve everything you have. . You've worked so hard. . Your entire life you've worked so hard. . You explain it so well. . You break it down and that's when people understand. . You don't just teach them how to make money; You teach them now to be. . I fully did not see it coming... . ... but I legitimately started taking notes and decided to receive what was coming through in that moment! . They say mothers are engrained with wisdom for their children. And perhaps some children (especially those of us who always felt like the adults) and don't always exactly know how to receive it. .
