I've been enjoying the @podcast-bookclub's listen of @camlannpod so much, I had to do a bracelet! I couldn't decide which colour wire to use so I did one of each.
I love seeing how the wire colour changes how the bead colours come through. This one was also a mental math exercise to intersperse the other colours throughout the ombré blue-green pattern.
I can't believe we only have 2 episodes left! Next week's bookclub listen is going to devastate me, I just know it.

Created by Faith McQuinn, Apollyon's first season released at the end of 2021, when we were all still trying to grapple with the effects that the pandemic had had on our lives. It hit very hard then and it continues hitting hard.

For day two of BIPOCtober, I'm shouting out @desperado-podcast!
Three misfits from Mexico, Haiti and Japan with connections to death gods from from their respective cultures try to survive and protect their heritage from modern-day crusaders (featuring magic, gods, witches, angels, and more). The world that Samy Souissi created is so rich and detailed!
When I made bracelets inspired by Desperado, it was one of the first times I experimented with coloured wire. I made three different versions, each with the same bead pattern but different wire colours.
Red wire for Elio/La Catrina and their blood powers.
Gold wire for Talia/Baron Samedi, God of the Party.
Black wire for Shinji and his spirit of Death.
For today's BIPOCtober, I'm shouting out @itmeblog and everything they do!! And I do mean everything... ItMe does the writing, sound designing, voice acting for every character, promotion, crowdfunding, etc. for both InCo and @storiesfromylelmore. There's even an in universe kids' magazine and other visual art to grow the world of Ylelmore. I honestly don't know how they do it. The worlds built and explored in both shows have been detailed and interesting, the characters flawed and relatable (sometimes too relatable). If you haven't listened to InCo or Stories From Ylelmore, you're seriously missing out.
I've made several bracelets over the last year or so based on these shows because they just keep resonating with me.
This bracelet, inspired by @thenightpost, feels very appropriate for fall! Hopefully it captures the world of the show: a little darker, but still full of variety and bright spots.
