As I reflect on the past year, I have to focus on the last two months. I spent a lot of time doing what I love, event coordinating. It has not been easy. There were many road blocks and difficulties to overcome. But last night, I took a step back, and saw a ton of people enjoying Winter Fest. And realized I was one of the many people who was a factor in that happiness. Some people have complained about the event, but we all complain about something. And so because of this experience and realization, I'm going to try (key work try) to complain less in 2017. I'm going to find the happiness in every day, not take things too personally, and appreciate the work people put into anything because I know what it is like to feel beat down.
