I just had an insane stucky fic idea where endgame steve is from a different timeline (maybe captain hydra) who got mixed up in the vortex or forcibly switched with canon Steve. And canon Steve is trapped in the captain hydra world. And has to figure out how to get back before CH Steve does too much damage. And then canon Steve beats the shit out of CH Steve
