Winter Forage was originally composed in 1974 as a birth announcement for my son Grendel. I had not even heard if MLP yet. The original 24 x 36 inch drawing was done with India ink on a heavy stock paper. It was lost many years ago. Then, in 2013, with the ART upon me, I remembered it and re drew it for the blog and its MLP therme.
Mama Dragon’s cottage came about because for a spot in Among the Rom, we needed a floor plan to keep things consistent. Wind liked it and asked for a sketch of the cottage.
