winter stared at the man for a few moments before it clicked who he was. she'd seen holo's of him before, back when the jedi were still around. "I'm sorry, are you obi wan kenobi?" she asked, making sure it was him and not a doppelganger.

winter knew it was better to just leave her family alone when they didn't remember anything - better to just let them find out on their own. but she hated it, hated that they'd lost leia and jacen. "oh sorry - did you say something?" she hadn't been paying attention - but didn't realise it was jacen standing next to her.

"what do you think people would say if we just didn't turn up to meetings and went to go get drunk instead?" she asked. "I'm sick and tired of listening to people talk about nothing important,"

"moms here," winter's brow furrowed as she looked at leia. "I don't think she had a kriffing clue who anyone is - I ran into her at a coffee shop and it took everything I had to keep my face from showing any emotions,"

"I wish," winter laughed slightly. "someone spilled one of those cocktails over me earlier - I'm just so glad it didn't stain,"

"do you want to explain to me why you're all over the place? or am I going to need to pry the information from you?" she asked, arms crossing over her chest as she cornered leia. winter didn't need the force to know that something was going on with her sister, she could read leia better than most people and knew something was going on.

"I swear if I have one more person hang up on me, I'm going to go insane," winter sighed, throwing the phone down onto the table. "you'd think that these people want meetings with the president, right?"

"I'm fine, just let me lay here for the rest of the day," winter's day had gone from bad to worse and she'd gotten out of the office as soon as she could to go for a walk and promptly thrown herself down on the nearest patch of grass in the park.
