Tasting notes and study!! Love it!! A little different to what I normally drink. @harcourtvalleyevents 2015 Sparkling rose. An off dry rose made with a blend of Montepulciano/Chardonnay. Fine delicate mousse. Nose of pomegranate, red cherry, rose petal, orange peel, raspberry compote of mixed red berries. Too hot for this. But has to be done. @kalleske Moppa 2016 Shiraz with small percentages of viognier (3%) and Petit Verdot (7%). Big and gutsy. Good black/red fruits, hints of grand marnier, well balanced tannin/acidity, big finish. Had an unforgettable experience at Dersou, an Asian-French fusion restaurant that provides a prix fixe menu with yummy cocktail pairings (fresh peppers in my drink!). I suppose I could have chosen not to drink some of the pairings since I had 3 glasses of wine before dinner; but instead, I chose to slightly wobble out of the restaurant in a manager-eyeing-me-like-is-this-girl-going-to-show-up-on-the-news-tomorrow kind of way when they served a beautifully opaque coffee sesame orange-y drink that blew my mind. #gooddecisions #freedom #winolife #paris (at Dersou)
