There’d been talk once, long ago it feels like, of this kind of meeting. Mentioned casually, tossed out in easy conversation. He’d laughed a bit then internally. And if he was honest? The same incredulous reaction was still within him, laughing even now.

Yet he stands in front of one of several full length mirrors that make up Warren’s closet and frets. Tugging on neatly pressed shirt collars sticking up through the sweater. Cuffs neatly folded over soft knit.

He feels small in these clothes.

warren has been an x-men since he was 15 so there weren’t many things that surprised him anymore,  but dante climbing in through the window of his 58th floor apartment at 11 o’clock in the evening was certainly a shock-  but unlike most of the shocks in his life this was a pleasant one and a smile breaks out across his face.

“    well hey there stranger,  long time no see.    ”     he laughed,  lifting the glass of wine he had been enjoying in greeting.    “    sure,  i’ll even pour you a glass if you tell me where you’ve been.    ”

              >> 🔥 <<    A STUPID SMILE FORMS ON HIS LIPS AND GIVEN TO WARREN AS  he squirms the way he does through the window.  its not so much a tight squeeze but it isn’t exciting either as his wings   DISAPPEAR   in red ash and sparks that disappear before they even hit the ground.  rolling his shoulders he winks at the mutant with a hum   --  warren’s smile warming him more than he’d ever admit.

my first thought for name was Tarren (pronounced like Taron Egerton’s name), and i’m thinking Nephilim for the codename (a fallen angel)

probably does,,, significantly less in the way of Tim’s normal hired jobs because wow. would you look at that. having wings makes it very obvious that you’re the one doing these things. maybe don’t.

there are probably some uncomfortably close calls with the Archangel personality bc Tim doesn’t know how to handle it? and it’s such a focus on Warren and Tim communicating that Archangel can kinda creep up on them.
