Iām excuse me sirs, you know what this does to us!
But for real, I hope we get to we whatever this is at some point
That is one mighty fine shot of Justin! (And a clue to his character!)
Larry posted another image on his IG and here's Brook showing off the New Mexico skies!
I'm guessing they've received a waiver from SAG and probably had a script already available. I also hope we get to see the final product!

Does he even need to ask? LOL!

@damangoshake can finally post these!!
So many WIndy loves!
@brook.willard How do you shoot a a scene at a train crossing when you donāt have a train crossing? Your wonderful production designer Bryan Norvelle and his phenomenal crew builds train tracks.
If I hadnāt seen it for myself I wouldnāt have believed how much work it was. The idea of putting some tracks down for a movie seems simple - just carve āem out of foam and stake them into the ground! Well, add this to the list of reasons Iām not a production designer. They laid down a full truckload of gravel, proper ties, and 8 tons of steel rail.
And after all that work we woke up that morning to find it snowing and absolutely frigid. As a standalone flashback in the episode, we decided to keep the snow on the tracks and lean into the look. With some rail extension and a dash of snow flurries added in by our VFX department - and @realmarksheppard lovingly reading the sceneās voiceover on set - a very cold morning turned into some very cool footage.
Thanks to @jaredpadalecki and @matt_barr_ for enduring the bitter cold and 1500mm closeups (it is a standoff, after allā¦) for our wonderful little western.
Wow! That's amazing to read everything that went into creating a short little scene. I love this crew and cast! (And love that Mark joined them on the set to do the reading.)
@philemonchambers I guess itās timeā¦.
Hmm oh now come on no sad faces. I canāt tell you how much fun I had on and off camera with many remarkable people. Everyday I woke up and I felt like I was in a dream and truthfully I never wanted to wake up. This cast has my heart and this crew have my unwavering respect. What yāall got to see on screen was a labor of love from hundreds of people and at times it wasnāt always easy but your response and loved pulled us through. If I could go down a list and thank everyone I wouldnāt, Iād be to scared to forget someone. Thank you to our crew that worked tirelessly everyday to make this show everything and more we could ever imagine. Thank you to my executive producers and producers and show creatorā¦.when we finished the pilot I wrote letters to each of you saying āthank you for making a black man from Compton feel like he belongs.ā and till this day I still utter those same words. To my cast yāall had me smitten everyday, watching each of you work was a master class and I loved every moment of it. To our fans and let me just say I hate using that word āfanā because we are FAMILY. Thank you for allowing us into your homes and into your hearts and giving us a place to call home. Thank you for all of the love, we couldnāt have reached the heights this show did without you. To everyone who participated in this show in any way shape or capacity - you have my respect and my love forever. The sun may have finally set on our town but the memories and episodes will always be a click away.

I've been really good about accepting the final cancellation notice and not crying until now... "...because we are FAMILY."
I love this show, the cast, the crew, and the creators! It was a wonderful year and I look forward to revisiting Independence and my WIndy family often in rewatches.
