Global Wind Patterns
Global wind patterns can be affected by the rotation of the earth, and ultimately affect a Nor’easter. The Westerlies travels directly through the region in which Nor'easters usually form, this direction of wind can push Nor'easters out to sea, and cause them to completely miss hitting Vermont all together. Shown in the picture below the Westerlies rotate counterclockwise, this would be the reason as to why Nor'easters rotate this direction. The Polar Easterlies could collide with the Westerlies and fuel a Nor'easter.
Convection
In all storms and everyday weather convection is taking place. In a Nor’easter for example warm air rises up and forms into clouds.
The warm air then condenses when it gets high enough in the sky and either turns into rain, which then falls, or if the temperatures are cold enough, the water vapor that was present in the warm air that rose turns into snow and then falls. The process is then repeated again and again.

Human Influence
Pollution can cause smog to be evaporated into the clouds, causing acid rain, etc.
Global warming can cause our region’s temperature to drop drastically, causing Nor’easters to be only rain storms instead of rain and snowstorms
Weather Influence
When snow falls during a Nor’easter, drivers drive slower than they normally do, ultimately causing drivers to be safer and have more practice on the road
Rain has fallen from a Nor’easter and caused floods
Snow has piled up and caused many accidents, killing people sometimes
Nor’easters have caused people to become prepared when there is going to be a storm, as the road could be too slippery to drive on or they could be snowed in
Erosion on beaches from Nor’easters have made people become more careful when making water barricades
