#41 - Toon Link

Also known as Wind Waker Link,The Hero of Winds and the Hero of the Great Sea.

Of all the incarnations of Link, this one’s my favourite, I absolutely love The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. I remember when it was first announced, people went CRAZY with hatred because of the change in visual style, comparing Link’s look to Hello Kitty, but I really liked it, I have a soft spot for cutesy characters and I really like the graphical style of that game, plus the whole seafaring theme goes a long way for me, I’m a very big fan of the ocean, pirates and anything sea related.

I never got the hate towards the latter part of the game where you have to collect shards to get the Triforce, I was stoked just by the fact that I could actually obtain the Triforce physically again in a Zelda game since the SNES.

My favourite part of the entire game was collecting all the figurines of the creatures and characters in the game by taking pictures, those 3D models were simply gorgeous and added a lot of replay value <3
