(Can't believe I actually finished this lmao)

Here's Maria & Aurora Rose, Shadow and Amy's twins from my new AU: Winds Upon the Flower Fields! (Might change the name later)

Despite being born basically at the same time, Maria always seemed to be the "favourite child", which led Aurora to unknowingly act more and more like her father used to. Despite this, both siblings deeply value life and strive to give the whole world a chance to be happy.

Despite being deaf, Maria discovered she had the ability to see soundwaves, and has ever since been fascinated with music, being able to manipulate sound waves around her to her advantage. She also inherited Amy's piko piko hammer, along with that good old happy go-lucky attitude

As for Aurora, as she grew older, her power became harder and harder to control, leading her to need inhibitor rings. Wanting to one-up her sister, she began training alongside Lanolin and eventually Shadow as well. She's able to tap into chaos control and would eventually become Silver's great-something grandma.

So...this is technically a continuation of the AU, but not what I originally planned to do. Inspiration forced my hand here uwu (don't mind the roughness, im trying out new ways to draw the hedgies)

So here's my take on Future!Shadow! I always liked the idea of Shadow somehow losing his doom powers and looking closer to Terios, his beta design, so that's where the main design changes come from, along with other ideas i had here and there.

As for lore, Shadow changed his name to Terios following the deaths of everyone, being cursed with immortality, he had to watch as everyone he knew slowly withered away and passed from old age. Wanting a fresh start, he completely changed his identity, letting "Shadow" rest alongside his friends and family, whilst still upholding Maria's promise. The passage of time took a number on him, though, barely remembering anything from that past, his scarf one of the last mementos he has of those times. Although he has noticed some curiosities about the world and its inhabitants, such as a speedy young blue jack rabbit, who strongly reminds him of another blue pest that used to annoy him.

And here they are! The heirs of the Sol Empire, my Sonaze fankids!

These drawings were done a couple of days ago, but I decided to try and make them as proper reference sheets :D

So! First off we got Cinder, eldest daughter and heir to the throne. In this AU, the birth of Cinder made those opposed to Blaze within the kingdom rise up, and as a way to protect their newborn daughter, Sonic took her while Blaze took care of things. This eventually made Cinder deeply appreciate the open air and adventure, but still prefers to stay indoors.

Next up, Sonic II! When he was born, Blaze immediately noticed the similarities with Sonic, and so decided to name the child after him, much to Sonic's dismay. Junior eventually grew up to be an adventurer just like their father, but would rather die before being called junior ever again.

Wind came as a bit of a surprise to the couple, a pyrokinetic hedgehog-cat hybrid was not in their bingo cards, but they managed. Eventually, Wind would move to the Chaos Dimension, feeling somewhat smothered in Sol. Much later, he would get together with Aurora Rose, the kid of Shadow and Amy. And after a couple of generations, a psychokinetic silver hedgehog would be born :D

Anyways, that's it for these goobers! Next up might probably be another fankid, or a proper explanation of the AU, since I am thinking of writing it :3
