oh gosh! hello!
winddrop started following you
ladywinthrop replied to your post: echoevemorrow reblogged your post: ladywinthrop...
Good point, I’d say a diff kind of vulnerability. In 3x11 she is showing vulnerability as a partner, allowing her partner to see deep into her soul. in 1x20 her vulnerability is that of a lost person. Saying “i’m gay” is sometimes the scariest thing
Not to seem jumpy, but with your comment on "being lost" I already got the next association :) I think that's a big metaphor with Paily...that they are each others Anchors (still so amazed with your idea of tag-choice;)), both were/are searching for themselves and always seem to find some piece of puzzle through the other and therefore getting grounded a.k.a. anchored...
Paige was able to find a piece of her identity in 1x20...
Emily was able to find a sense of home in 3x08...
ladywinthrop replied to your post: I think
you girlssssssss. And the fact that Paige let Emily come to her with the truth, and then Emily gave her the truth. And yea..just, oh my girls
On a related note. This is fuckingtastic continuity...remember Emily telling Paige "to be honest" in 1x20 and then it directly relates back to 3x11 and the breakfast-scene. These girls have so much love for each other, that they know one simple truth
"You have to be honest"
And the writers are so careful to show us their progression, but ultimately in the same moment gave us the explanation of the foundation of this relationship...

of course the Shawster RTed it, she probably rushed on set early today when she saw the scene on her call sheet ;)
Hahaha :) And she made sure to tweet her followers before the day starts...the day got really shawsome...

Also Em’s “yea it will” response. It’s soft, but honest. She doesn’t give false hope, but instead shares a own honest struggle she had, trying to convince herself to like guys, just like Paige. In a way it’s saying to Paige, u’re great, just how u r
and with this I present to you, the moment when lovely windy tried to kill me with feelings *pouf*
Can I have a hug? *asks shyly*
ladywinthrop replied to your post: "If I say it out loud, if I say: I'm gay. The whole world is gonna change": On Paily, vulnerability and fearlessness
I never viewed the Emily/Nate kiss as a “de-gaying” of Emily in any way, to me it was about Maya. And gosh the “if I say it out loud” scene is still perfection. In that moment u just know Paige is saying it for the first time & feel all her fears
Wouldn't have expected it. I think the majority of the Paily Anchors has the interpretation of the kiss as a grieving moment of Emily. I think I wrote for an invisible audience of "still angry about the kiss"-people...haha
If I tell you how often I watched the "Say it out loud"-scene today...my heart still hurts. It's Paige's most vulnerable moment and Emily is listening, like really listening and understanding...and everything falls into the right place. Just for once, now, right in this moment - Paige sees her way out *sobs*
JGL too? Woman, I already have to share my girls with you, now you're saying I have to share my guys with you too?! =P
Lol We share ships, crushes, fandoms, a freakin' a name. Lol why not guy crushes as well?
