Wilted Soul
I was like a crafty boat made of paper,
You were like the brook that traversed me through serenity,
Where, I sometimes got deeply submerged into your intimacy,
endured and enjoyed those cute tiny fights,
Never to be severed from each other,
And we'd rather drown in love's agony than swim in its scarcity.
But all of this just seemed like poetic lies,
where I was deeply lost in the mendacious verses that now torments me,
For inside you, pumps a 'Machine Heart', that functions to provide agony,
Where I just transcend into these dales with sail of sorrows,
And our love with its poisoned roots now contorted to a void, leaving me in dismay.
Where was the promise?
The time you told me with your quivered yet mellow voice,
"We are like two parallel lines that meet in love to form a circle of love, never to be broken"
Where are those times, when we walked down those Auburn streets through the white sapphire stars,
When you held my hand tight that it caused sweats of our love on those Tremulous Nights.
//I'll ride my bike up through the world,
down the streets, right through the city,
I'll go everywhere you go.. //
I still search for that longing in these Melodic Lines, Where I thought that I did belong in someone's heart.
For this the people say I am a lunatic, Am I?
Because your soothing voice still keeps me up at night.
Have I gone insane?
You held me in Faceless Embers of Pain,
Holding the Grim Reaper's Diary, that etched only torture,
Where, now I would describe your fake charade as
a bullet laced with poison, that pierced my heart and the poison dispersed through the arteries, leaving with a puncture in my heart that led me in dismay, Decapitating my soul and scarring me for life.
